HOWARD’S RHEINGOLD’S ADVICE ON ‘CRAP DETECTION’

After reading Rheingold’s vlog on crap detection, I realized that we as educators and parents have the responsibility of teaching ‘our children” to think more critically about what they read on the internet. Each individual needs to realize that just because it’s on the internet doesn’t mean that is true or accurate. It’s a simple lesson of teaching them to check who the author is? and what are the author’s sources? I guess it’s time to take Rheingold’s advice and educate the youth of crap detection on the internet.
