Digital Storytelling in primary French Immersion


‘I love to hear myself speak!” Having students, even grade 2 French Immersion students create their own digital story can enhance their language skills and encourage creativity. From the moment they draw their story, to the moment they record their voice the students are totally engaged. It is quite the procedure! They learn how to scan, upload their drawings, and narrate their written text. They preview and make adjustments as often as they wish. It’s exciting to watch them create their own video! While they are having so much fun! Incredible stories! How proud they are when sharing them with others! What other technology can I use to enhance my young French Immersion student’s oral language?
